In a similar vein to the gramophone leaves, Bugs appear to crawl along the wall signaling Oogie Boogie's imminent appearance.

As the performers move towards the center of the stage, the crack grows brighter and the screen darkens as if the wall itself is about to consume the performers

What's This? Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along

I had the wonderful opportunity of serving as the Lead Animator for What's This? Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along that was a part of Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This show brought the film to life in a fun sing-along for the audience to participate in as well as get to experience Oogie's Demise in a creative new way. I was responsible for all aspects related to the LED Content wall that serves as the main backdrop for the entire 20 minute show.

The Concrete Wall and VFX were created using Unreal and then composited to include the film clips in After Effects. Oogie's musical number was primarily done in After Effects with Oogie's Demise taking renders out of Unreal to be composited together.
