I had the immense pleasure of getting to collaborate with Lightstorm Entertainment, the studio behind Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water, on a one of a kind projection show that debuted alongside the film in December 2022. Richie Banahan, Academy Award Winning VFX Supervisor for both Avatar Films, and the rest of the Lightstorm team were so fun to work with and excited about creating content for projection for the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Because the way of water connects all things and Animal Kingdom's core message about nature and conservation, the show focused mainly on the new aquatic creatures found in Avatar: The Way of Water including Tulkun, Akula, and Ilu. For this project, I worked closely with the environments team at Lightstorm to be able to apply their renders for projection onto the Tree of Life and help create a show that reflected that message.
